Starting with draft beer from countries such as Germany, Belgium, England, America and Republic of Czechoslovakia, it is indeed a beer paradise with representative beers from around the world all gathered under one roof. More than 15 types of mainly rare draft beer imported into Japan for the first time are usually available and including bottled beer, there are more than 150 types of beer available.
Besides beer, various types of food that goes well with the beer have also been prepared for visitors to have a taste of each country’s culture and cuisine. Enjoy famous dishes from all around the world such as eisbein (a traditional German pickled ham hock), moule mussels steamed in beer, huge BBQ steaks and řízek (Czech-style pork cutlet) in addition to standard fare such as grilled sausage, fish and chips and hamburger.
There are 5 beer counters in the store that are replicas of the bar counters from the various countries. Move to the next beer counter and you’ll be transported into a different world. You will get to taste not only delectable cuisine but also the unique ambience that each country offers in a setting that is designed for you to fully savor the flavor of each beer.
There is also a display of a world beer map showing at one glance information on the world’s beers at the store front. Besides information on the beers that you can try in the store, you can also learn more about various beers from countries around the world.
The store also has open-air terrace seats and can accommodate a maximum of more than 300 guests. From the terrace seats, you can gaze at the wide sky above or enjoy a view of the Tokyo Skytree and enjoy a refreshing beer in the midst of the warm summer.
